Spring Break Guide

Have a Relaxing Beach Day

Boca Grande Beach

Looking for a beach out of a postcard? The photo above is taken at one of my favorite local spots. Boca Grande Range Lighthouse Beach (you can put this right into google maps). Park and pay and follow the path down to the water, you will walk out on to one of the best kept secrets in Southwest Florida. This "locals only" spot isn't known by many. Making for a peaceful beach trip. Stop into town on your way out for lunch and shopping! You can rent golf carts and stop on Banyon street for a photo under their famous backdrop 100 year old + Banyan trees!

Brunch or Dinner at Leroys Southern Kitchen

Located in Downtown Punta Gorda Florida.  I discovered this place when a local blogger shared her experience on Facebook. I am a food LOVER and this place was calling my name. High quality southern style food.  We tried brunch first (Sunday's ONLY) and were instantly hooked. Delicious fresh ingredients and great atmosphere.  Live bands multiple nights a week and an amazing bourbon selection.  We often sit at the window (pictured above) and enjoy dinner and drinks after a long day!  Check out their menu online

Book a local fishing charter

Goliath Grouper

A great way to get to know the area and out waters is to book a local fishing guide. Our area is known for many different kinds of fishing. Inshore, offshore, tarpon and sharks. We have a little bit of everything! In the video above I assist my husband with his charter guests, they hook and land a Goliath Grouper. The fish is safely released after a few quick photos.
